Affiliate disclosure

This page explains, in full, how Corvus Digital is paid and what that does and does not affect. We put the short version beside every affiliate link and in a notice on the homepage; this is the complete account.
The three things you should know
Whenever this site links you to a game’s own website, that link may be a paid affiliate link. Three facts follow from that, and we want each of them to be unmistakable:
- The links are paid. If you follow one of our affiliate links and then create and activate an account with the vendor, we may receive a commission.
- The vendor pays, not you. The commission is paid to us by the vendor’s affiliate programme. It does not add anything to your cost and does not change the price of anything you do or do not buy.
- It does not shape our coverage. Commission does not decide which games we write about, the order in which they appear, or what we say about them. The same words would be on the page whether or not anyone ever signs up.
How the arrangement works
Corvus Digital is published by Grrpupu s.r.o. We take part in one or more affiliate programmes operated by, or on behalf of, the vendors of games we cover. When you click an affiliate link on this site, you are taken to the vendor’s destination exactly as shown in the link — we do not route you through a redirect on our own domain, and we do not change where a link goes after the page has loaded. You can see the destination in your browser before you click.
If, after arriving at the vendor, you create and activate an account, the vendor’s programme may attribute that action to us and pay a commission. That is the entire commercial mechanism. There is no charge to you at any point, and nothing about your experience with the vendor changes because you arrived through our link rather than any other way.
What determines our coverage
Because the honest answer to “does the money influence what you write?” has to be demonstrable, here is what actually drives our coverage. We cover a subject if it is relevant to a reader in Australia, if we can state something about it accurately, and if any claim we make can be traced to a source we can name. Product details about a specific game come from that vendor’s own material and are attributed to the vendor. Points about safety, classification, privacy and consumer rights are linked to the relevant Australian authority. Commission is not one of these factors, and it does not change the order in which things appear. Where you will see this disclosed
We disclose the affiliate relationship in three places, so you never have to go looking for it:
- In a visible notice in the upper part of the homepage, above the first affiliate link.
- In a short line immediately next to every affiliate link or button, wherever one appears.
- Here, on this dedicated page, in full.
Your rights are not affected
Following one of our links does not change your rights when you deal with a vendor. Any purchase you make with a vendor is a matter between you and that vendor, and your protections under the Australian Consumer Law apply in the ordinary way. World of Tanks and all other product names, logos and brands mentioned on this site are the property of their respective owners. Corvus Digital is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. Where we name a game, we do so only to describe and compare it.
