Cookie policy

This is a short policy because this site does very little. Corvus Digital sets no cookies of its own and allows no third party to set cookies through it. This page explains what that means for you.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website can ask your browser to store, so that information can be remembered between pages or visits. Cookies are commonly used for things like keeping you signed in, remembering preferences, or tracking behaviour for analytics and advertising.
This site sets no cookies
Corvus Digital does not set any cookies, and it does not permit any third party to set cookies through it. In plain terms, that means:
- No analytics cookies. We run no analytics service of any kind.
- No advertising or tracking cookies, and no tracking pixels.
- No social media embeds or “like” buttons that would set cookies.
- No session identifiers or sign-in cookies, because there is no account to sign in to.
Because nothing on this site sets a cookie, there is no consent to obtain, and so you will not see a cookie banner here. A consent banner on a site that sets no cookies would itself be misleading, so we do not display one. If that ever changes, see the commitment at the end of this page.
What happens instead
Serving a web page still involves some ordinary, unavoidable processing, and we would rather describe it than pretend it does not happen. When you request a page, our hosting provider records standard server logs — typically your IP address, your browser’s user-agent string, the URL you requested, and the date and time. These logs are used for security and diagnostics, not for tracking you across the web, and they do not rely on cookies. Our privacy policy explains how long they are kept and on what basis.
No other browser storage
Beyond not setting cookies, this site does not use localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB, and it does not attempt any form of browser fingerprinting. The only scripting on the site is a small amount of first-party JavaScript that runs interface features such as the menu and the frequently asked questions — it stores nothing and sends nothing anywhere.
Managing cookies in your browser anyway
Even though this site sets none, you can control cookies for the web in general through your browser settings. Every major browser lets you view and delete stored cookies, and block or limit new ones. Look in your browser’s privacy or security settings, usually under a heading such as “Cookies and site data”. Blocking cookies broadly may affect how other websites work, but it will not affect this site, because this site does not rely on them.
Our commitment if this ever changes
If we ever introduce a cookie, or any tool that would set one, we will update this policy to describe it accurately and put a working consent mechanism in place before that cookie is set. We will not add tracking quietly. Until you see this page say otherwise, the position is simple: no cookies are set by this site, and none are listed here because there are none to list.
